Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to maximize their potential and achieve sales goals
  • Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat business through various channels, including outside sales calls, telemarketing, and networking
  • Provide timely and accurate sales reports and forecasts to the management team
  • Collaborate with the group and catering department to identify potential room block leads and develop strategic business plans to expand the company's customer base
  • Develop and execute sales action plans to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets
  • Assist the Director of Sales with projects and assigned accounts to maximize revenues
  • Prepare proposals and contracts, and negotiate with clients to secure business
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the company's brand and products
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads, proposals, and contracts
  • Travel and attend industry events, trade shows, and sales meetings to build relationships and drive business growth

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management or a related field
  • Proven sales and leadership experience in the hospitality industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods
