Job Title and Description

We are seeking an experienced Tag and Title Clerk to join our team at Jim Coleman Automotive. As a Tag and Title Clerk, you will be responsible for processing retail and wholesale title work, preparing and submitting out-of-state title work, and verifying the accuracy of vehicle titles.

Responsibilities
  • Process title work for retail and wholesale customers
  • Prepare and submit out-of-state title work via Title Service
  • Verify the accuracy of vehicle titles, including VIN numbers, odometer readings, and releases of liens
  • Resolve titling issues through interaction with customers, dealers, and regulatory agencies
  • Maintain knowledge of current DMV regulations and interpret titling regulations for each state
  • Run outstanding title reports and contact sellers regarding outstanding titles
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in automotive motor vehicle processing
  • Reynolds & Reynolds and CVR experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to understand deadlines and respond with urgency to tasks
