About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires collaboration with business leaders to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You'll provide strategic legal guidance on complex business projects, ensuring that our products and services are delivered in a way that meets legal and regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic legal leadership to the U.S. business segment's multi-disciplinary, transformational efforts and Product Management function.
  • Understand and interpret laws, rules, and regulations affecting the Firm's business.
  • Proactively identify legal, regulatory, and business risks, and coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure business leaders understand those risks while meeting business objectives.
  • Navigate complex issues and partner with peers and leaders within and outside the Legal Division to connect dots across initiatives, advise on impacts to the Firm, and develop best practices for executing on the Firm's plan.
  • Effectively communicate and share information across the Firm and Legal Division.
  • Manage a workload that is large, diverse, and complex.


What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a competitive salary range of $136,571 to $232,541, based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors. Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate with exceptional academic credentials required.
  • Securities/Financial industry experience or experience in a highly regulated industry is required.
  • License to practice law in Missouri or an equivalent state.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive responsibility as an attorney in private practice, in the public sector (including with a regulator) or in an in-house counsel capacity.
  • Technological aptitude and ability to learn new technologies.


Location

This role is based in our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations. Candidates living within a commutable distance are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
