Surgical Sales Professional

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Sales Professional to join our team at Integra LifeSciences. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving or exceeding defined territory sales revenue targets through strategic planning, relationship building, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Cultivate relationships with new and targeted customers, supporting their conversion to and adoption of our products
- Travel to recruit new accounts and service pre-existing accounts in the assigned territory
- Navigate customer purchasing processes, purchasing committees, and other key stakeholders with a role in each customer's buying process
- Support customer lead generation activities, including cold calling, customer follow-up, and market research
- Promote, attend, and help execute training workshops for current and prospective customers
- Complete all daily and going administrative activities, including business planning, expense planning, and reporting, CRM management, and entry customer record entry, and competitive intelligence
- Support the management of clinician relationships within acute hospitals, alternative site hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, outpatient surgery centers, and private practice offices
- Increase customer knowledge of our products, points of differentiation, and economic value proposition through the distribution of educational and informational assets for the company
- Develop and articulate a strong, working knowledge of SIA products, with emphasis on product benefits and features, points of differentiation, competitor positioning
- Develop and articulate an understanding of surgical procedures that are relevant to SIA products
- Maintain compliance with all applicable quality and regulatory guidelines for SIA
- Maintain consistent communication with Regional Sales Management and organizational leadership, providing marketing intelligence and customer insights as they become available
- Operate professionally, representing the culture of SIA with integrity, honesty, and hustle
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Prior experience in Medical Device sales (preferably Aesthetics, Plastic, or General Surgery)
- Prior Exposure to Surgery, Surgeons, and the Surgical environment
- Track record of leading entry of product into hospitals (VAC committees, supply chain/purchasing, administration)
- Demonstrated, verified ability to sell new products and drive market share
- Candidate must be local to the territory
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Access, Project, and Visio
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong presentation and training skills
- Strong interpersonal, logic, and planning skills
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to keep accurate records
- Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent negotiating and problem resolution skills
- Strong research and technical writing skills
- Travel is Required
Essential Function:
An essential function of this role is making in-person onsite regular visits to hospitals, medical facilities, and other customer locations.
