We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with a strong background in wound care and ostomy management. As a Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical education and training to our staff on the latest evidence-based practices in wound care and ostomy management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical education programs to foster high-quality care and promote evidence-based practice.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of our wound management software application.
  • Ensure clinical education programs address patient-centered needs and identify and communicate protocols and standards of care for a culturally and demographically diverse patient population.
  • Manage the implementation of clinical staff development programs, including orientation, in-services, training, and other learning activities.
  • Evaluate clinical outcomes data and analyze practice patterns to promote organizational responses that meet the needs of patients with specific complex and chronic illnesses.
Requirements:
  • Certified as a Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) required.
  • Current License and registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in NYS required.
  • Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing, Science in Education, or Science in Business Administration required.
  • Minimum of five years progressive experience in health care required.
