Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Work Control Manager to join our team at Energy Northwest. This critical role plays a major impact on safety, cost, and generation at our nuclear power plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall direction and oversight for activities associated with the work management process.
  • Maintain knowledge of plant problems and configuration by interfacing with onsite operating personnel and plant management.
  • Establish priorities and specify work to be accomplished at the plant on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate activities of various departments to ensure that scheduled work is executed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the performance of the site in executing work and identify the causes of failures to start or complete work in a timely manner.
  • Manage the Work Week teams to ensure proper planning and execution of scheduled work at Columbia Generating Station.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of BWR operations, programs, and procedures, as well as a Bachelor's degree in engineering/science or a related field and 8 years of experience in operating or maintaining a nuclear power plant.

Alternatively, the candidate may have an Associate's degree in engineering/science or a related field and 10 years of experience in operating or maintaining a nuclear power plant, or a high school diploma/GED and 12 years of experience in operating or maintaining a nuclear power plant.
