Job Summary:

CPS/Comtech is seeking a skilled Document Control Specialist to manage and process project documents and records with precision and care. This role involves utilizing an electronic document management system for data entry, document preparation, scanning, and archiving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage project documents following established procedures.
  • Ensure quality control of scanned images and maintain accurate data entries.
  • Interface regularly with both internal and external customers to resolve queries and provide support.
  • Establish and maintain both electronic and hard copy filing systems for various project and departmental documents.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and provide administrative support as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with electronic document management systems; InfoWorks experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an engineering, construction, or operations setting is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with document control and records management processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
