Job Title: Senior System Administrator

Job Summary:
Synergy ECP is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to support the development and production environments for a mission-critical Identity and Access Management (IdAM) system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, with experience in working with virtual machines, operating systems, and security hardening.

Responsibilities:
  • Configure and maintain virtual machines using VCenter/VMWare
  • Manage Linux and Windows operating systems, including CentOS, RedHat, Windows 10, and Windows Server
  • Implement DNS and Active Directory services
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and Jenkins scripts for continuous integration and delivery
  • Perform OS and software application patching, including IAVA and version updates
  • Support AWS services, including VPC, EC2, and S3

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or a related field
  • 10 years of system administration experience, or 14 years with a degree substitution
  • 2+ years of experience with PKI authentication services
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as Perl and bash
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and MongoDB

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with IdAM directories, such as Active Directory and LDAP
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
  • Networking and load balancing experience
