Key Responsibilities:

  • Steer the strategic roadmap for display IP technology across all NXP display-enabled products, guiding architecture and engineering teams throughout the R&D lifecycle.
  • Engage with industry standards organizations, such as MIPI and the HDMI Forum, to promote the evolution of future display interface specifications.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape to identify technologies and strategies that ensure the distinctiveness of NXP SoCs.
  • Collaborate with fellow display and graphics specialists at NXP to innovate critical technologies that set our products apart.
  • Work closely with business and engineering teams to develop product concepts and formulate robust business cases.
  • Facilitate design development, performance estimation, and analysis through effective methodologies and hands-on contributions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture specifications and user guides.
  • Provide mentorship to junior and senior architects, sharing your domain expertise.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to convey complex ideas effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD in computer or electrical engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in architecture, design, or verification.
  • Familiarity with display panel technologies, SERDES signal quality, display video timings, color processing, and high dynamic range.
  • Experience in developing and implementing display interfaces such as MIPI, DisplayPort, or HDMI.
  • Proven track record in power optimization at the IP, SoC, and system levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect product solutions utilizing new technologies or significant advancements.
  • Experience in fostering technical alignment across diverse, multi-location teams.
  • Engagement with international standards development organizations is a plus.
  • Ability to support strategic technology roadmaps across various domains.
  • Strong customer relationship development skills.
  • A passion for innovation and a willingness to explore new avenues while influencing stakeholders through detailed investigations.
  • Comfortable addressing issues across all levels of architecture, from micro-architecture to system and software architecture.
  • Experience with SoC infrastructure architectures and related system constraints.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and ongoing research advancements.
