Role: Sales Specialist for Medical Devices

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Specialist to join our Wipro Engineering Practice, focusing on the Medical Device domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Operational Technology landscape and be well-versed in Industry 4.0 and Digital Manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Revenue and Order Book growth for Wipro Engineering Services in the Medical Device domain
  • Build and manage Opportunity Pipelines by collaborating with Account Leadership teams and supporting client requirements
  • Provide domain expertise within the Medical Device manufacturing industry segment
  • Develop and present proposals and quotations to support sales goals and objectives
  • Manage existing strategic customer engagements with Account Leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and sales growth
  • Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to support customer engagement activities from opportunity development to securing orders
  • Work with solutions teams, ecosystem partners, and delivery teams for seamless project execution
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university
  • Master's degree in engineering, MBA, or related field of study (preferred)
  • At least 10+ years of experience working with a Medical Device company or selling into the Medical Device manufacturing industry, with deep knowledge of I4.0 and digital manufacturing solutions
  • Ability to engage with customer CXO/Senior business leaders
  • Knowledge of industry standards like ISA 95/ISA 88 and understanding of traditional automation pyramid layers, as well as emerging technologies like IIOT architecture and platforms, cloud/edge, big data analytics, AI/ML, and 5G
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
