Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Accountant plays a crucial role in supporting the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance by ensuring precise and timely financial reporting. This position is vital for maintaining robust internal controls, adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and safeguarding the assets of our owners and investors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of deposits and nightly sales postings
- Perform weekly assessments of accounts payable, ensuring accurate expense coding and timely check runs
- Reconcile account balances on a monthly basis, identifying outstanding items and resolving any discrepancies
- Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple properties
- Address outstanding items that arise during financial statement reviews
- Fulfill requests for information from owners and auditors
- Process credit applications as needed
- Collaborate effectively with team members and hotel staff

Qualifications:
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles, particularly regarding assets and liabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills
- A degree in accounting or equivalent experience is preferred

Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage.
