Automation Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Permanent Controls Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex control systems and components for our cutting-edge engineering projects.
This role involves working closely with other engineers and professionals in a collaborative environment to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement control systems to meet project requirements and enhance system functionality.
- Program PLCs, primarily using Allen Bradley PLC's, to ensure seamless automation of processes.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative automation systems and solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and automation.
- Maintain and upgrade existing control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular system tests and inspections to verify system operations and safety.
- Develop detailed documentation for control systems design, specifications, and maintenance procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the team and stakeholders on control systems and automation.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and advancements in control systems and automation.
- Ensure all control systems adhere to established standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the Engineering industry.
- Extensive experience with PLC programming, particularly with Allen Bradley PLC's.
- Proficiency in control systems design and electrical engineering.
- Hands-on experience with automation and web converting.
- Strong knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional technical and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
