JOB DESCRIPTION

Clean Harbors is seeking multiple Laboratory Chemists I-IV to conduct thorough analyses of samples, determining their chemical and physical characteristics utilizing advanced techniques such as chromatography and spectroscopy. We are looking for individuals who prioritize safety in their work environment.Competitive compensation ranging from $24.50 to $40 per hour, with weekly pay and overtime opportunities based on experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Foster a positive and secure work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and practices.
  • Conduct sample analyses using GC, GCMS, ICP, and various laboratory instruments.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as necessary.
  • Manage waste generated from analytical processes responsibly.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry is mandatory.
  • Focus on Environmental Chemistry; experience in Pharma or BioMed is not applicable.
  • Previous laboratory experience is essential.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications is required.
  • Ability to document, record, and analyze data effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
