About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialty Pharmaceutical Sales Representative/Clinical Specialist to join our team in Raleigh, NC.

As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for calling on practicing physicians, hospitals, clinics, and other health-related organizations within an assigned territory.

Your primary goal will be to provide healthcare professionals with the most current information about Indivior products and their approved indications, ensuring their appropriate use and achieving business potential in the territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invest time and effort to achieve established goals for the territory, including sales, market share, doctor calls, and program planning
  • Monitor and analyze results on territory, maintaining an up-to-date business plan that evaluates sales effectiveness
  • Ensure all required documentation, reports, and other necessary materials are timely and accurate
  • Demonstrate a strong clinical understanding of all aspects of Indivior products and related disease states
  • Communicate product information clearly, concisely, and accurately
  • Plan and organize daily sales call activities to optimize time and maximize sales objectives
  • Demonstrate persistence in accomplishing objectives despite disappointments and/or rejection of original efforts
  • Create and maintain a positive impression with customers
  • Project a professional business image, including neat physical appearance and appropriate manner of speech
  • Maintain timely communication with Area Sales Manager and other members of the sales leadership team
  • Participate in sales training meetings and other company-provided training and development opportunities
  • Recognize changes in the work environment and develop and implement alternate plans to achieve objectives
  • Represent Indivior at national and/or local conferences, as applicable
  • Perform special projects and assignments as directed by the Sales Leadership team
Requirements
  • BS/BA degree in a related field (pharmaceutical, medical, healthcare, or related experience)
  • 1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical sales, or a related field
  • Injectable experience preferred
  • Specialty Pharmacy and Specialty Distributor experience preferred
  • Experience with selling complex specialty and buy-and-bill products preferred
  • Previous experience selling a drug device or technology that required a change in physician protocol preferred
  • Strong customer focus, demonstrated teamwork and collaboration
  • Computer proficiency
  • Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
