Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Hope Oncology in Athens. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing interventions.
  • Develop and individualize patient care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient-centered care principles.
  • Execute physician orders, administer medications, and deliver population-specific nursing care in accordance with UTHSCT policies and procedures.
  • Perform technical procedures and skills in oncology, including medication and treatment administration.
  • Provide basic patient and family instruction, healthcare teaching, and promote positive guest and patient relations.
  • Respect and support patient rights, maintain patient privacy and confidentiality, and prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
  • Attend and participate in unit meetings, support the philosophy and goals of the unit, department, and organization, and maintain competency in patient safety functions.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
  • RN with clinical experience in oncology preferred.
  • RN with experience in a clinic setting preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EMR experience.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and medical equipment.
  • Advanced, specialized nursing skills as appropriate to the nature of medical activity.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of protocols and procedures within the specified clinic environment.
