Job Details

A mid-size pump services and manufacturing facility requires a skilled Pump Mechanic to perform mechanical assembly of pumps mounted on skid units. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, performing laser alignments, using dial indicators, and balancing impellers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and repair pumps using hand tools and power tools
  • Perform laser alignments and use dial indicators to ensure precision
  • Balance impellers and other pump components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and P&IDs

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in pump assembly and repair
  • Own hand tools up to 1 1⁄4" combination wrenches and 1⁄2" drive wrench sets
  • Laser alignment and dial indicator experience
  • Ability to drill and tap holes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, P&IDs

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in Katy, Texas, with a first shift schedule from 6AM to 4PM, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays as needed.
