The Role:

As a Housekeeping and Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the venue and surrounding areas. You will also perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the venue's business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Keep the venue safe and clean at all times, including cleaning and disinfecting all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors, and walls of restrooms, keeping all guest-facing areas free of trash, restocking restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed.
  • Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment, and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Show care by participating in the venue's sustainability program, which may include implementing programs that conserve resources and prevent waste, such as sorting waste and collecting recycling, and educating our fans about our efforts.
  • Partner with fellow crew members at the end of the show to close the venue, which may include collecting recyclables from reserved sections, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as barricades, etc.
  • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • It is required of all crew members at the end of a show to participate in the "Post-Show Pick" responsibility, which involves a team effort to clear the venue of cans and plastics following each event. This "Post-Show Pick" effort ensures we are all aligned with our Zero Waste vision and a 70% diversion rate goal.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED completion preferred.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting.
