The Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to identify and cultivate new sales opportunities, deliver product solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain positive relationships to maximize company sales. You will introduce our products and services to both new and existing SLED customers and be accountable for executing strategic and tactical sales account plans. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain precise sales and revenue forecasts and manage quota funnels.

Main Responsibilities

Key Duties:

- Build and manage relationships with both acquired and existing customers to gain strategic positioning with decision-makers, secure additional business, and retain current revenue.
- Create action plans to cross-sell and up-sell accounts, enhancing overall customer spending with the company.
- Identify, bid on, negotiate, and close new sales opportunities to meet and exceed established sales and revenue targets.
- Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from both new and existing accounts.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the complete product suite offered by the company, with potential in-depth knowledge of specific products and services.
- Deliver accurate and detailed weekly forecasts of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
- Offer insights to sales management regarding trends and changes within the customer's organization, making recommendations for future actions to improve the company's position with the customer.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of the competitive landscape within the telecom industry.
- Proven experience in the field is preferred.
- Strong communication, writing, and formal presentation skills, along with proficiency in closing sales.
- Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented professional capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of industry sales experience within SLED/Public Sector in the Technology/Telecommunication sector.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role varies based on the employee's primary work location. Typically, employees do not start at the top of the range, as compensation is dependent on individual qualifications.

Location-Based Pay Ranges

$51,188 - $68,250 in specific states.
$53,625 - $71,500 in other states.

As with the pay range variety based on the region, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions are also eligible for long-term incentives.
