This opportunity is part of our Ensign-Bickford Industries division, a prominent provider of mission-critical hardware and systems solutions, specializing in precision energetic systems and advanced explosive technologies.

Position Overview:

A role is available for a Manufacturing Assembler with Ensign-Bickford Industries. This is a full-time position.

General Summary:

The selected candidate will report to the Shop Floor Supervisor and will undertake various tasks within the production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual and mechanized assembly tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
  • Utilize hand tools, machinery, air presses, jigs, and other equipment for processing specifications.
  • Follow detailed work instructions accurately.
  • Engage in additional operations such as loading and unloading components into tooling and powders into cups for pressing.

Job Specifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to set up and monitor equipment based on written and verbal instructions.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with proficiency in using and interpreting various measuring instruments.
  • Capability to perform fine mechanical assembly, including resistance welding, light machining, and electrical testing.
  • Certification in soldering per J-STD/NASA is advantageous.
  • Experience in the Defense and Aerospace sectors, along with familiarity with company product lines, is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This role requires appropriate safety equipment as mandated by the work area. Some production and testing environments may involve exposure to noise, necessitating hearing protection. Safety training for handling pyrotechnic materials is mandatory. Physical activities include lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, repetitive motions, stooping, balancing, pushing, pulling, coordinating, talking, and hearing. Compensation:

Hourly Range: $26.00 per hour. Compensation is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
