Job Summary

PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler/Hand Solderer to join our team. As an Electronics Assembler/Hand Solderer, you will be responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components on printed circuit boards using hand-held soldering stations.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and solder electronic components on printed circuit boards using hand-held soldering stations.
  • Install and rework fine-pitch surface mount devices with precision and accuracy.
  • Identify and verify component types and polarities to ensure correct assembly.
  • Read and utilize Bill of Materials (BOM) and Assembly Drawings to ensure accurate assembly and rework.
  • Understand and adhere to ESD and ISO procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Solder RoHS and Non-RoHS components with precision and accuracy.
  • Rework small components through a microscope with precision and accuracy.
  • Ensure quality of work and product meets standards and expectations.
  • Perform solder touch-ups as needed to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of IPC-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies and IPC-7711 Rework of Electronic Assemblies is required.
  • Capable of following process on travelers and providing input for DFM to ensure efficient and effective production.
Requirements
  • ITAR Qualified (USA citizen or permanent resident).
  • High school or equivalent education.
  • Must be able to understand, speak, and read English fluently.
  • Must be able to articulate any issues that arise while working on a PCBA.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience and 2+ years soldering PCBAs preferred.
  • Experience with the use of hot air rework stations is required.
  • Must be in good health and be able to use both hands.
  • Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs safely and efficiently.
