Position Overview
EBAD is on the lookout for a skilled individual to fill the role of Electromechanical Assembly Specialist, reporting directly to a Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with team members to fulfill the required tasks in each production cell.
- Comply with all organizational policies and procedures, including adherence to the Quality Management System.
- Follow all documented instructions, work guidelines, and procedures during the assembly of hardware.
- Maintain compliance with all environmental health and safety regulations, including safety policies and signage.
- Accurately complete production records, travelers, and logs as tasks are finalized. Ensure material traceability information is documented on travelers. Confirm and date operations as complete only when all quality standards are met.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Assemble intricate sub-assemblies and/or finished products using a variety of hand and automated tools.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with small, intricate assemblies.
- Proficient in working with a microscope.
- Skilled in using hand tools and interpreting measuring instruments.
- Capable of conducting mechanical and electrical testing on products.
- Certification in soldering per J-STD/NASA is advantageous.
- Prior experience in Class 100,000 and Class 10,000 cleanroom environments is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Able to effectively interact with all levels of management.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Appropriate safety gear is mandatory as dictated by the work area. Certain testing and manufacturing environments may involve exposure to noise, necessitating hearing protection. The physical demands of this role include the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, along with activities such as walking, standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, repetitive motions, stooping, balancing, pushing, pulling, coordinating, talking, and hearing. The physical requirements and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $19 - $30 per hour, determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
