Job Summary

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist Level 3 to join our team. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiological services and supervising the delivery of radiological services in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise the delivery of radiological services, recommend changes and improvements, and participate in the development of training programs for radiographic personnel.
  • Imaging Specialist Responsibilities: Perform specialized imaging procedures with diagnostic and interventional radiography, and participate in quality assurance activities.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Represent the department in interdepartmental operations and meetings, and participate in procurement and storage of supplies.
  • Research and Special Projects: Participate in research and special projects involving evaluation of equipment and delivery of service.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of Radiologic Technologist experience performing duties consistent with Assignment Levels I and II, one (1) year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
  • Specialized Imaging Assignments: Possession of a current advanced-level certification for the performance of specialized imaging procedures.
