Job Title: Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Jackmont Hospitality. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of foods according to recipe requirements and adhering to product sensitivities and plate presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food to meet TGI Friday's standard of excellence, following recipe requirements and product sensitivity guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date on recipe changes and ensure proper execution of procedures to maintain high-quality and consistent products.
  • Keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and organized, and ensure that prepared food is continuously moving out of the kitchen.
  • Communicate with service staff, kitchen staff, and managers to ensure smooth service and address any issues that may arise.
  • Complete assigned prep work, break down and clean stations, and requisition products as needed.
  • Operate and maintain equipment properly, and ensure proper rotation of products and stocks.
  • Clean and sanitize throughout the shift, and ensure that all products are labeled, day-dotted, and signed by a manager.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks while maintaining required standards of operation.
  • Ability to produce items exactly according to recipe to ensure guest satisfaction and control food costs.
  • Ability to follow food handling and sanitation procedures to control food costs and ensure guest and team member safety.
  • Ability to read guest orders and communicate effectively with the kitchen and service staff.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
