- Overseeing Advanced Practice Professionals in their clinical duties;
- Performing patient assessments and making accurate diagnoses;
- Evaluating patient data to identify needs or establish treatment objectives;
- Prescribing medications in accordance with state regulations;
- Monitoring and managing patients' medication usage;
- Tracking patient progress and responses to therapeutic interventions;
- Assessing and diagnosing mental health disorders in referred individuals to provide targeted treatment;
- Offering consultation services to other healthcare professionals;
- Providing psychiatric medical expertise in the evaluation and management of mental health disorders to ensure comprehensive care;
- Educating patients, colleagues, and staff on mental health topics;
- Accurately documenting all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR).
