Job Title: Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at LHC Group in East Hanover, New Jersey.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain, and other medical conditions. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement a treatment plan, perform interventions, and evaluate patient progress.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patient functional status and physical therapy needs
  • Assist the physician in developing the therapy plan of care
  • Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and/or maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice
  • Instruct and inform participating members of the healthcare team, the patient, and family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals
Requirements:
  • Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of New Jersey
  • Current CPR certification
  • Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
