Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Program Management Co-Op Specialist to join our team for a 6-month assignment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and apply relationship, trust, and influence-building skills across teams and leadership, develop general management skills, and gain hands-on experience in technical program management and project coordination within the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review revenue performance using enterprise resource planning software and portfolio management software to identify potential gaps.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Product Management, R&D, NPI, and Applications.
- Review project budget to analyze trends and compare them to various project metrics.
- Work with Senior Program Manager to share findings and proposed next steps with senior leadership.
- Review current budget request template and make improvements to improve efficiency on how data is gathered and entered.
- Develop a project plan for a new project segment by identifying roadmap, scope, expected deliverables, budget, required milestones, resources, and stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to the TPM team as needed for coordinating project-related activities.
Requirements:
- Eager to learn about various aspects of program management, including scoping a new program structure, reviewing financial metrics, estimating budgets, and identifying opportunities for improvement within PMO procedures.
- Fluent in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Power BI is a plus.
- Data-driven mindset.
- Able to work with cross-functional teams.
- Enthusiastic about project and program management.
- Willing to learn new skills outside of day-to-day PMO tasks.
- Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong interest in becoming a project/program manager.
- Managed complex projects in an academic setting.
- The attitude of getting the job done.
