We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented co-op to join our team at E Ink's Deep Learning Center. As a Hardware Deep Learning Interface Development Co-op, you will be responsible for writing code to control essential production and research hardware tools, including electronics, cameras, spectrometers, and other pieces of equipment.
Your primary goal will be to streamline new, deep learning-based processes used to create new products in record time. You will also help develop software environments to control new setups for research purposes, contributing to a new, fundamental understanding of the science underlying e-Paper display technology.
Key responsibilities include working on a team to finalize a software codebase to control a large set of production hardware, writing APIs to control new hardware for high-precision measurements, testing the performance of code controlling the hardware in the lab, and helping assess the improvement of critical deep learned models when trained on data from new hardware.
Qualifications include actively pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Physical Chemistry, Control Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, object-oriented programming experience, and a passion to learn new programming languages, such as Python and C++.
