About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Ann Storck Center in Fort Lauderdale. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for administering our workers' compensation, FMLA, and employee benefits programs while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Management: Process employees' incidents requiring medical treatment and maintain a log of work-related injuries/incidents.
  • Leave Requests: Review leave requests to determine FMLA eligibility and coordinate benefits for employees on leave.
  • Employee Support: Assist employees with ADA accommodations and provide support during the recruitment process.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance and attendance of probationary employees and report concerns to the HR Director.

Requirements:
  • Education: Associate degree in HR or equivalent experience required; High School Diploma necessary.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources as an HR Coordinator or Specialist; 4-5 years as an HR Assistant.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office & Google Workspace.
