We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Lead Analyst to join our team at Citigroup Inc. in Tampa, Florida. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical and business support for users of Citi Applications.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for Citi Applications, resolving application issues and driving stability, efficiency, and improvement.
- Manage, maintain, and support applications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality, and functionality.
- Develop and maintain technical support documentation.
- Perform start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handovers.
- Act as a liaison, interfacing with internal technology groups and vendors.
- Ensure storage and archiving procedures are in place and functioning correctly.
- Formulate and define scope and objectives for complex application enhancements and problem resolutions.
- Develop and review application contingency plans to ensure 'always on' availability to users.
- Participate in end-to-end application releases from development, testing, and deployment into production.
- Keep learning and continuously improve skills by staying up to date on the latest technologies.
- 5+ years of experience in an Application Support role.
- Primary skill set: Oracle, Unix Shell Scripting, Python Scripting, BI/Reporting tools.
- Secondary skill set: Autosys scheduling, ServiceNow, SQL, debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience installing, configuring, or supporting business applications.
- Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn.
- Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
