Our company, Epstein, is seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager Lead to join our team. Located in Chicago, IL, this role offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year.

Job Description:

This is a key position responsible for overseeing and coordinating all project field activities. The successful candidate will provide proactive leadership to develop and promote a culture of safety on the project site, ensuring compliance with company and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Partner with project managers to budget, manage, and forecast subcontractor labor, equipment, materials, and general conditions
  • Establish crew sizes and assure construction schedules are maintained by trade subcontractors
  • Maintain quality control through regular inspection of work in progress and completed projects
  • Support interface between design and field construction
  • Review requests for change orders and prepare required field documentation and reports
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of supervisory experience on large projects for a General Contractor or Construction Manager
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of field construction systems, practices, safety procedures, and general engineering principles
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, supervisory, problem-solving, initiative, and teamwork skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and experience in MS Project and Procore
