Job Title: Industrial Engineering Specialist

Raytheon Careers is seeking an Industrial Engineering Specialist to support the Effectors portfolio of factories in Tucson, AZ. As an Industrial Engineer II, you will be responsible for maximizing throughput, improving efficiency, and delivering increasing value to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce undesirable effects, improve efficiency, and meet or exceed cost, quality, and on-time delivery goals
  • Influence factory roadmaps and investment strategies by drafting infrastructure improvement and expansion proposals, and planning the integration of new products, technologies, and equipment that create a competitive advantage
  • Work with cross-functional teams to execute projects that address obsolescence, improve factory performance, and promote growth
  • Support new production contract/new product proposals and new product integration efforts
  • Improve factory safety and work cell ergonomics
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, or similar engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or 3 years of relevant experience with a master's degree in a similar discipline
  • S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) clearance
