Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Competency Specialist with our Legal Intervention and Network of Care (LINC) Program.

You will work closely with the King County District Court to serve individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders who have court involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify needs and link clients with community resources, including behavioral health treatment in the criminal justice system and reducing inpatient hospital days
  • Work to reconnect and ensure linkage back to services where client is already enrolled

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in social science or other related field with 2+ years of relevant experience serving adults with severe and persistent mental illness
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with community mental health and individuals with severe and persistent mental illness who come into contact with local criminal justice system is essential

Estimated Salary Range: $33.00-$40.11 per hour
