We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Transition Specialist to join our team at Eckerd Youth Alternatives. As a Career Transition Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping our students achieve their career goals and transition into successful careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct interviews with students to assess their career goals and develop personalized career plans
  • Provide career counseling and job search assistance to students
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to secure job placements for students
  • Monitor student progress and provide ongoing support to ensure successful career transition
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a comprehensive approach to career development
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in career counseling, job placement, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and build relationships with local employers
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
