About the Role

The Vice President of Operations will play a critical role in driving the success of SERVPRO of Metairie. This individual will work closely with ownership to understand and execute the company's vision, ensuring alignment across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with ownership to develop and implement a strategic plan based on a comprehensive SWOT analysis.
  • Conduct regular office visits to assess successes and failures, identify coaching opportunities, and tailor training programs to each office's needs.
  • Develop and manage Key Performance Metrics (KPMs) to monitor performance at weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual intervals.
  • Lead weekly discussions with the CFO and owners on cost control, margin management, and strategic adjustments.
  • Foster a positive culture in each office, promoting the company's core values of Urgency, Process, Quality, and Accountability.
  • Work with the HR Manager and General Manager to identify organizational chart shortcomings and make necessary changes to support the company's vision and strategy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in a senior operations role, demonstrating a successful track record in process implementation and management.
  • Strong analytical and business planning skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with a focus on fostering accountability and a positive work environment.
  • Industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in developing and managing KPMs and a deep understanding of P&L dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
  • Dedication to upholding and promoting the company's core values.
