Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Manager on Duty at Barry's. As a key member of our Front Desk Team, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily studio operations, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting, assisting, and checking in clients; responding to inquiries in-person, on the phone, and via email; and working efficiently in our business management software to register clients, process payments, and maintain database information up to date.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure seamless delivery of an exceptional customer experience, maintain clean and welcoming spaces, and create a positive atmosphere.
  • Maintain product knowledge for all studio retail operations and marketing initiatives.
  • Guide clients on studio offerings, promotions, and special events.
  • Assist studio management with daily tasks and other projects as needed.
Operations
  • Showcase the best of Barry's hospitality and customer service standards while on shift and mentor junior staff in upholding these standards.
  • Take a leadership position in managing and handling complex client inquiries and challenging studio situations.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with studio leadership on facilities, personnel, and client issues.
  • Act as the primary point person for VIP visits, special events, and celebrations occurring while on shift.
  • Receive retail inventory, drive retail sales, merchandise retail areas, and communicate retail needs to studio leadership.
  • Oversee management of cash flow and the point of sale system while on shift.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Subject to your meeting the requirements for eligibility and participation under each program, you will be eligible to participate in Barry's comprehensive benefits program which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; short-term and long-term disability insurance, and; life and AD&D insurance.
