Shift/Schedule Requirements:
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate operational needs.
The Guest Services Supervisor at Cedar Fair will manage the front desk operations.

As a key leader, you will be tasked with cultivating your team and ensuring outstanding service is delivered to both guests and internal stakeholders while optimizing revenue and controlling departmental expenses.


Responsibilities:


Contributes to the development and delivery of training on all standard operating procedures for the front office, employing effective communication skills to guide and motivate team performance.

Assists in formulating standard operating procedures for all hotel divisions and ensuring compliance with those guidelines.
Provides direction and training to the supervisory team using strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Ensures adequate staffing in all areas under your purview based on projected occupancy and budgetary constraints.
Oversees all departmental purchasing and labor management.
Ensures enforcement of all security protocols regarding guest information, key management, and financial controls.
Ensures that all departmental logs and reports are accurately completed and distributed daily to the relevant parties. Maintains precise attendance and performance records, offering appropriate coaching and feedback to team members as necessary.

Maintains open communication with the housekeeping department regarding room availability, maintenance issues, VIP guests, room relocations, early check-ins, and late check-outs.

Leads by example, fostering an environment of respect, trust, and collaboration among team members.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of management or supervisory experience in hospitality or operations.
Exceptional time management, organizational, and customer service skills.
Exhibit strong planning and organizational abilities to enhance productivity.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
Must be able to pass a mandatory (or random) drug screening, in accordance with company policy, unless restricted by state or provincial law.

Must be able to successfully complete a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may encompass credit, criminal history, driving records, prior employment, education, and personal references, per company policy, unless restricted by federal, state, or provincial law.
