Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Equipment Lead to join our team at nVent. This role will be responsible for providing ownership of inventory management, coordinating equipment returns, and utilizing Worldship and LTL shipping software to ship customer orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ownership of inventory management, including inventory receipts, transfers, new item setup, and cycle counting.
  • Coordinate equipment returns from customers with Customer Service, Sales Managers, and Service Department.
  • Utilize Worldship and LTL shipping software to ship customer orders.
  • Facilitate material handling functions using forklifts.
  • Develop production schedule based on customer demand.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Moderate computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, and ERP.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours throughout shift.
  • Motivation and desire to work hard.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
  • Ability to bend, lift up to 50lbs periodically.
  • Previous manufacturing experience required.
  • Management of inventory (Raw, WIP, and FG).
  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements.
  • Infrequent domestic travel.
