Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Ryder in Louisville, Kentucky. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Diagnose and repair minor mechanical and electronic problems
  • Perform preventive maintenance and facility maintenance duties
  • Work with a team to ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • One year or more experience in transportation maintenance preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred
Benefits:
  • Average weekly pay: $1039.60
  • Hourly pay: $25.99 per hour
  • Certification bonus of $100 for each new ASE certification obtained up to $700
  • Quarterly bonus: Ryder pays up to $500 every quarter - four times per year
Work Schedule:

Second shift Tuesday - Thursday 3:30 pm – 12:00 am, Friday 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm, Saturday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
