Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Nutrition Services Manager to lead our nutrition services department. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for maintaining and administering established operational systems, providing for the needs of staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain operational systems and provide support to staff as part of the management team.
  • Direct storeroom clerks and cooks, and ensure infection control practices are implemented and sustained.
  • Mainly communicate with patients, staff, and customers regarding service levels.
  • Mainly maintain adequate staffing, recruit, hire, and manage staff performance.
  • Collaborate in menu development for patient, cafeteria, and catering services.
  • Manage collaboratively to achieve optimal performance, delegate effectively, and set goals and lead initiatives.
  • Ensure patient/customer perspective drives actions and business decisions.
  • Demonstrate breadth and/or depth of professional/technical skills required for position.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years of experience in food services; two (2) years of hospital nutrition experience.
  • Associate of Arts degree.
  • A Food Handlers Permit is required.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $27.77 - $40.27 per hour.
