Job Summary

BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Semiconductor Engineer to join our Advanced Microwave Product Center in Nashua, NH. As a key member of our team, you will lead and contribute to the development of next-generation MMIC processes, optimizing them for manufacturability. Your expertise in semiconductor process integration, particularly with III-V materials, will be instrumental in driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead team efforts to create advanced MMIC processes, ensuring manufacturability and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of new process integration techniques, device designs, and process solutions.
  • Implement and qualify developed technologies in a multi-technology foundry environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project delivery and meet customer requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a semiconductor-related field and 4+ years of experience, or Ph.D. in a semiconductor-related field.
  • Strong background in semiconductor process integration, particularly with III-V materials.
  • Experience with GaN RF devices and related processing is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of GaN-based RF devices.
  • Experience with technical proposal writing and device failure analysis.
  • Background in statistical data analysis and interpretation, with experience in tools such as JMP and PROMIS.
  • Knowledge of device failure analysis and related analytical tools (SEM, FIB, TEM, etc.).
