Job Overview:
The Logistics Associate plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position involves the handling and movement of goods within the facility, ensuring that all processes are executed with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize powered industrial vehicles to transport, lift, and manage inventory items throughout the warehouse.
- Prepare shipping containers for loading, optimizing space by measuring and arranging products effectively. Verify that the correct items are loaded by cross-referencing with the RF-Handheld Scanner.
- Inspect and replace defective components in returned items to maintain quality standards.
- Follow verbal and written instructions diligently, performing necessary clerical tasks related to inventory management. Complete assigned duties within designated timeframes.
- Employ RF-Handheld scanners to accurately track and manage inventory levels during shifts.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and respect towards colleagues, demonstrating a commitment to personal and team development.
- Adhere to safety protocols, learn standard operating procedures, and consistently follow workplace rules and guidelines.
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic arithmetic skills are required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
