Position Summary:
ClassiCorps educators are full-time faculty members dedicated to maximizing student achievement.

Our educators are committed to advancing Classical's mission and fulfilling key expectations:


Leading all students to achieve significant educational progress: students must attain mastery and advanced mastery of grade-level Common Core State Standards to succeed in higher education.


Creating and sustaining a highly structured classroom environment where students and staff demonstrate respect, responsibility, care, trustworthiness, fairness, and citizenship.


ClassiCorps Educators receive:
Summer teaching preparation, including observing, attending sessions, and leading instruction during the Summer Learning Academy.

Intensive coaching, featuring observations and feedback sessions with Instructional Coaches twice weekly throughout the three years.

A Master's in Teaching—fully funded by Classical Charter Schools—completed within the first two years of the fellowship.


Full salary and benefits, starting at $60,000 annually, increasing to $82,000 upon completion of the Master's in Teaching.

Up to $1000 reimbursement for relocation expenses.

All while striving to provide a world-class education for students in the South Bronx.

The opportunity to obtain certification in various teaching fields, including Dual Certification in Education (SPED).

Successful ClassiCorps educators are encouraged, but not required, to continue their work with Classical Charter Schools beyond the three-year commitment.


Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree by the specified time (all majors accepted).

Minimum GPA of 2.5.

Experience working with children.

Successful Candidates:
Demonstrate alignment with Classical Charter School's mission and approach.

Exhibit strong work ethic and organizational skills.
