Position Overview:
We are pleased to announce an opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Psychology Fellow.

This 2-year fellowship is structured to cultivate psychologists into exceptional clinicians specializing in brain injury and neuropsychological rehabilitation.

The Pediatric Service offers neurorehabilitation interventions for children and adolescents aged 2-21, addressing a range of congenital disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy and Spina Bifida, as well as acquired neurological and physical conditions including Traumatic Brain Injury, Concussion, Spinal Cord Injury, and Brain Tumors.


Key Responsibilities:


- Conduct neuropsychological evaluations for both inpatient and outpatient services.
- Provide individual psychotherapy and cognitive remediation to support clients in managing emotional responses to their disabilities.
- Engage in family and staff consultations regarding psychological, social, and neuropsychological factors affecting the rehabilitation process.
- Minor rotation in the NICU Follow-up Program is available.
- Receive supervision and training in preparation for licensure and board certification in Rehabilitation.


Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctoral Degree (Ph.D./PsyD) in Neuropsychology or Clinical Psychology.
- Obtain a Limited Permit from NY State within 3 months of hire.
- Relevant coursework and clinical experience in neuropsychology.
- Supervised neuropsychology experience during internship or practicum.
- Completion of all requirements for Doctoral Degree in Psychology.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
- Candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills across all organizational levels.

The salary range for this role is $32,000 to $46,350.00 annually. Actual salaries are determined by various factors, including experience, specialty, education, and institutional needs.

The listed salary range does not encompass bonuses, incentive pay, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
