2025 Guardian Summer Intern, Actuary

Our 2025 Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, in addition to engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our offices. This 10-week internship provides you with realistic experiences and information of what it is like to work at Guardian.
Internship Dates:
The internship program will run from Monday, June 2, 2025- Friday, August 8, 2025.
We review applications on a rolling basis, and we encourage you to apply as soon as you are ready. The application window will close on Sunday, November 17th, 2024, at 11:59PM ET or when role(s) have been filled, whichever comes first.
You are:
A rising senior or a student pursuing a master's degree (graduation date of December 2025- June 2026) who is fueled by collaboration, able to listen and make quick decisions and thrive in a goal-oriented environment.

- New York, NY
- Bethlehem, PA
- Passed at least one actuarial exam
- Curiosity about problem solving as well as technical skills
- Assist with departmental actuarial tasks, such as pricing or valuation
- Use Microsoft Excel and other software to perform analysis
- Present work and results to a broader audience
- Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career

F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship are not available for this position.

Salary Range:
$20-$40 per hour

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
