Executive Hospitality Manager

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Executive Hospitality Manager to lead our team at our San Francisco property. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and developing high-performing teams.
Responsibilities- Sales and Revenue Growth: Play a pivotal role in hotel sales efforts, including building relationships with top clients, hosting events, and collaborating with on-site contacts.
- Tour and Adjustments: Conduct daily tours of operating departments, making adjustments as needed through department heads.
- Staff Meetings and Training: Lead weekly staff meetings, including training sessions presented by managers and yourself, following Highgate Hotel standards.
- Financial Management: Meet all financial review dates and corporate-directed programs in a timely fashion.
- Departmental Budgets: Ensure department heads maintain budgeted productivity levels and adhere to Highgate Hotel accounting procedures.
- Manager Development: Develop managers for future advancement through competency training and corporate-sponsored programs.
- MOD Coverage: Participate in required MOD coverage as scheduled.
- Employee Development: Maintain direct contact with and monitor the development of management trainees.
- Policies and Procedures: Adhere to all Highgate Hotel policies and procedures, training new managers to ensure compliance.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, with at least 5-6 years of progressive experience in a hotel.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and listening skills, with the ability to work with employees and guests of all levels.
- A warm and friendly demeanor, with a focus on providing exceptional guest service.
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and handle complex situations effectively.
- Physical demands include exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
