Position Overview: Cake Decorator

As a Cake Decorator at Fiesta Mart, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious cakes. Your expertise in baking and decorating will ensure that our products meet high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare a variety of cake products by adhering to established guidelines.
  • Utilize approved recipes for both baking and decorating cakes.
  • Provide training to new team members on basic cake decorating techniques.
  • Maintain organized workstations and manage inventory effectively.
  • Accurately interpret and follow instructions.
  • Operate bakery equipment and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Efficiently restock supplies and maintain a tidy workspace.
  • Exhibit knowledge of various baking techniques.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and engage positively with customers.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, push, pull, climb, kneel, and crouch.
  • Capable of carrying, lifting, bending, balancing, stooping, and reaching.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and demonstrate manual dexterity.
  • Effective communication skills, including talking, seeing, hearing, and smelling.
