About the Role:

Harris Miller Miller & Hanson is seeking an experienced Environmental Policy Specialist to join our Aviation Environmental and Sustainability (AES) group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and developing environmental review documents that comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and relevant state-level requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review technical studies, NEPA documents, and other relevant documents.
  • Conduct research and document preparation independently, with minimal guidance from senior staff.
  • Manage small to medium-sized technical and professional teams, and provide technical expertise and market knowledge for proposals and project pursuits.
  • Mentor and manage junior staff, and oversee all aspects of environmental projects, including scope, schedule, and budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of science or master's degree in environmental planning, environmental science, or related fields of study.
  • ~7+ years of professional environmental/planning experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) NEPA regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and project management experience.
