As a Principal Systems Engineer, you will be engaged in the development and support of various aviation platforms, including both manned and unmanned systems, as well as unmanned ground vehicles. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating customer and stakeholder specifications, deconstructing them, deriving new requirements, and allocating them to system components.
  • Designing system architectures for both new initiatives and existing solutions.
  • Conducting trade studies and investigating engineering concepts to ascertain optimal requirements.
  • Formulating comprehensive test plans, reports, and cases based on established documentation.
  • Defining system interfaces, schematics, and design documentation.
  • Overseeing testing procedures and adhering to structured development methodologies.
  • Collaborating with the Software Engineering Team to establish software system requirements.
  • Engaging in the planning, design, and implementation of intricate systems.
  • Conducting peer evaluations and providing updates on project progress.
  • Assisting in the preparation of proposals and presentations.
  • Traveling to client locations as necessary (up to 25% travel anticipated).

This position requires strong leadership abilities and the capacity to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners, ensuring successful project outcomes.
