This full-time position requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interface with internal and external project team members, company personnel, and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze customer and stakeholder requirements, decompose requirements, derive requirements, and allocate requirements to system and subsystem elements.
- Develop system architecture for new and existing systems, conducting trade studies and performing design research to determine optimal requirements and system architecture.
- Develop test plans and reports, test cases based on requirements documentation, and system/subsystem interface definitions, system schematics, and system design documentation.
- Lead and conduct testing as applicable, working in adherence to structured and defined development processes.
- Collaborate with the Software Engineering Team to develop software system requirements and test requirements.
- Participate in planning, design, testing, and deployment of moderately complex, engineered systems and software to ensure conformance with functional specifications and customer requirements.
- Perform peer reviews of fellow team members' work and report project and task status to project tasking lead.
- Assist in preparation of proposals and presentation materials, and travel to customer locations as needed (more than 25% travel may be expected at times).
