About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our team at Kubicki Draper. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for handling insurance defense and civil litigation cases, with a focus on third-party bodily injury claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and Review Substantive Pleadings: Draft, review, and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery in cases involving catastrophic injury and bodily injury claims.
  • Attend Hearings and Depositions: Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations to represent our clients and advocate for their interests.
  • Client Communication and Negotiation: Participate in meetings with clients and negotiate settlements to resolve cases efficiently.
  • Trial Preparation and Attendance: Assist with trial preparation and attend trials to represent our clients and advocate for their interests.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrate competence and proficiency in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure seamless case management.
  • Adaptability and Efficiency: Adapt to and work efficiently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Requirements
  • Insurance Defense Experience: Previous experience in insurance defense litigation, particularly in insurance defense, bodily injury, and catastrophic injury, is required.
  • Florida Bar Membership: Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing, required.
  • Academic Credentials: Stellar academic credentials are essential for this role.
